Since the Revolutionary War the citizens of Alexandria have been celebrating the birthday of George Washington. These celebrations were organized by Soldiers and Citizens who were volunteers; and today (although we get terrific support from the Alexandria City Government) the Celebration is still organized and executed by volunteers.
We need your help! We need you to volunteer! You may to volunteer in any capacity, but we especially need volunteers for the Parade and the 10-K Race. Experience is not necessary...we will train you.
Parade Volunteers are recognized annually and the experience is great fun!
